how do i play music through my ipod car charger?

I don't think you can, well not with that car charger anyways. There are ipod car chargers that also have an FM transmitter built in. Those allow you to charge your ipod and also send the music to your car stereo.
What you do is set the transmitter to an unused FM frequency and then tune your car radio to that frequency and you will hear your ipod music through your car stereo.
