roughly how many amps (ma) in a aaa battery no and if a device uses 4 aaa how many amps (ma) would that be?

I am trying to create wall charger for a device that takes 4 AAA batteries and i am trying to calculate the voltage and apmrige for the device i belive it to be 5.2 vdc and @ 300ma

Amps (current) is the result of the load (the device connected to the power source). If you connect a wire from one pole of the battery to the other, the wire will draw several amps (depending on the resistance of the wire, and the voltage of the battery. AA, AAA, C, and D batteries are all 1.5 volt batteries).

Your device requires 5.2 volts DC. Four batteries connected in series (end to end, positive to negative), will provide 6 Volts. Depending on the device, that may be too much voltage.

The wall charger is rated at 300ma. That means it can handle a device that draws up to 300 ma.

If the 6 volts doesn't damage your device, your device will work until the batteries are drained. Four AAA batteries will drain much sooner than four D cells.
