Hi, I'm rather technologically inept and have just spent the last three hours trying to work out how to sort out my ipod. I've had the ipod for about three years and it's an ipod video 30GB. I had it all linked up to the laptop I was allocated with my last job and it was woerking well.

How can i download songs to my iPod Video 30G without the cable?
I'm on vacation right now and i brought my ipod and my laptop.. But not the cable. And i recently download tons of new songs and i cant put them on my ipod because i dont have my cable. Does anybody know how to put songs on a iPod Video 30G without the cable?
Haha wow... that's tough. The thing with iPods is that the plug that plugs into your iPod is actually hardware patented by Apple, meaning no one else can make it without Apple's permission. So pretty much, short of buying another iPod cable from somewhere or borrowing someone else's, there's not much you can do (Btw, if you don't have the cable, how are you going to charge your iPod!?)...
